Commish Ruling is in....Vegas team is out!

Nashville, Tn - Commish Ulery ruled last night that Hendersonville's AAA team the District 9 Prawns will have to be relocated. The city that never sleeps evidently is not big enough for two AAA teams. LA Bruins AAA team (Las Vegas Stars) signed a contract to come to Vegas first and will be the only team in Sin City.
The ruling doesn't come as a surprise to owner Hays. "After we submitted the city location we then realized that the Bruins had their AAA team there. For a short moment we hope for a inner city rival, but we knew that would be a long shot."
The District 9 team will now be based out of the Dallas, Tx. This will be the first baseball team in Dallas. When Dallas Cowboy's owner Jerry Jones was asked about the D9 Prawns building a stadium next to his multi-billion dollar stadium his quick response "What the F*ck is a prawn?"

Former VBL owner gets 2nd chance...Hays brings H'ville Hitmen to VBL6

Nashville, Tn - Over the last couple of weeks rumors have swirled around linking a former VBL4 Owner/GM to the new establishing VBL6 league. Travis Hays spent 2 1/2 season in VBL4 leading the Augusta Black Knights to two straight division titles ("thanks Doc!"). Rumors were that former VBL4 owner/GM and good friend of Hays was asked to join the new VBL6 and when you couldn't Warren forward the info on to Hays who then contacted the Commish. "It kinda caught me off guard. Warren sent me the link and for about a week it just set in my inbox. Ever since I left VBL4 I've been almost 100% out of touch with the guys. I would check in on the league every few months and I think one or two of the owners emailed me, but that's it. I finally started doing some digging around to find out what VBL6 was about and I instantly became interested."
After a short wait and see Commish Gray finally gave Hays the ok to join the league and start looking for a location for his new franchise. "Living here in Hendersonville, Tn we have everything we need...that is everything except BASEBALL! And there is no better baseball than VBL!"
